During your winter holidays at Plan de Corones there are plenty of options for vacation days in the perfectly prepared powder snow. The Plan de Corones ski area is only about 300 meters from the farm Cone da Val. The skiing adventure can begin right at your door step. Just a few steps and you reach the slope Miara leading from San Vigilio towards Plan de Corones. 119 km of slopes are groomed daily on Plan de Corones. Around half of all slopes are marked blue. Thanks to their gentle gradients, the wide slopes in the ski resort Plan de Corones are particularly popular with families. Six ski runs to the valley are available to visitors. They are between five and six kilometres long. In ski kindergartens, professionals lovingly care for the youngest guests and teach them skiing in a safe way. In the ski resort Plan de Corones you will also find challenging slopes and numerous red and blue runs, which anyhow are also suitable for inexperienced skiers. There is a direct connection via bus to the Sella Ronda, which is appreciated by ski tourers and downhill specialists and by train to the Sesto Dolomites.

Around 200 km of cross-country trails await you at Plan de Corones. Cross-country skiers will find plenty of opportunities to practice their favourite sport in the area. Through a silent, snowy winter landscape, a 24 kilometre trail leads from San Vigilio to Pederü. In the municipality of Marebbe there are the longest toboggan runs in the region. On seven kilometres each, you can race down into the valley from the Alps of Sennes and Fanes. The new toboggan run in San Vigilio and the ski slope Cianross are illuminated twice a week in the evening and guarantee great sledding and skiing fun until the late hours. The nature park Fanes-Sennes-Braies is a paradise for those who love ski touring and snowshoe hikes.

For a snowshoe hike we recommend guided tours in the Nature Park Fanes-Sennes-Braies as well as from the Passo delle Erbe in the Nature Park Puez-Odle. You may fully rely on the skill and years of experience of our mountain guides. However, if you are familiar with snowshoeing, and know what to pay attention to, and how important weather and avalanche reports are, then you may also organise a tour by yourself.
